FatR:
G......... My calculations weren't wrong, but some officers really need to commit seppuku for lack of aggression.

The IJA China army is in Burma.

The Burma IJA has been destroyed.

I expect to lose the game and have to give FatR a marginal victory, but I will try for a draw. Note on chart below I am just now getting out of 2-1 auto jap victory before the end of 44.

44-4-14: Waiting for the results of most current DD Raid. Intel reported enemy ships at 3 ports on north coast of NG. Happened to have a group of DDs nearby that I thought could make a night run up the coast and provide 4x sqn p38 cover on the return. So off we go w/ waypoints set into each enemy port.

Results are in and raid went as planed w/ no allied ship losses. USAAF threw a AF strike into Hollandia in support of DD withdrawal in effort to reduce counter ship strikes by IJAAF.

As expected USN DD flottila reached Hollandia on night of second day and found another unloading IJN trans TF. I suspect RA Callahan used all his torps in his previous action so it became harder to sink these ships.

Looks like the LSTs at wewak got away. So we nailed 2 out of 3 enemy TFs operating in the area. In future FatR will have to escort his Transports into this FEBA w/ capitol ships.

FatR had mined Umboi island w/ maybe 2/300 mines, but it did not take me very long to clear the hex. So my DDs just passed right thru, FatR is trying to close off the Finchshaven passage.

Note I set the TF to Mission speed on purpose. I was afraid on Full Speed they would return on daylight into enemy anti shipping range.

The post-beta raid coordinations seems to be much worse... Can only hope that the same applies to the Allies.

beta-11.20c I suspect both sides will need to fly smaller strike packages.
