How do I get my troops to climb aboard tanks during battle? My infantry has cleared some woods of the enemy before the tanks drew near. I want those same infantry to ride upon the tanks that are now waiting closely on a road.

Is there a command that tells my troops to board the tanks?

you know i always forget about that, I'm thinking it's the E key. From the manual

Take positions in a
vehicle or on a
vehicle [E]

Yea i actually found something useful in the manual[;)]

If the 2 units are close to each other hold the left mouse button down and draw a rectangle around the tank and the infantry you want to board the tank and then press the UI button that has the the rectangle with the arrow pointnting into it.(lower right corner of User Interface panel).

To dismount you can do same thing except press the UI button with the arrow pointing out of the rectangle.

I have so many good games to play that I shelved this one and just picked it back up last night. I'm still amazed at the atmosphere of this game.

I circled back around to apos after some case blue and sow gettysburg. I have to keep referring back to these threads to remember how to do things in the game. Someone should take all the how-to's from Dane and redmarkus and put them together and sticky them or put them into a file we can download and print. I had to search to find out how to get my mortars to area fire, could not remember.

As a side note i still have trouble with the replacements and repair and resupply aspect of the game. I'll check the manual again but i don't think that made it clear to me the first time i consulted it. Any other sources available anywhere to help explain this aspect better?

1. Download and install Firefox as your browser.
2. Go to Add-ons in Firefox
3. Search for the Add-on called PDFit. Install that. Restart the browser.
4. Go to the page you want to keep, right-click, choose 'PDFit as PDF, whole page'

You get a PDF file which you can save wherever you like...

Put them close to each other (the logistics unit and the unit needed support) and leave them without moving for a turn.
