Enjoying a Strike Back:Vengeance marathon on catch up TV. Lots of sex and violence, just what us tiny tots love.

Not even close. So far very warm for the season. Normally, we should've seen some snow come and go by now. Not a snowflake in sight yet though.

Been busy with work and the Guard. Love my new job and I'm a "spare" for my unit deployment next spring. I won't know if I'm going until probably a couple of weeks out. [8|] Anyway, I have to complete all the pre mob training, just in case. I finally got my game going again and just finished catching up on the AAR. I've decided to make time for all you crazies and to keep my game going. That's only fair to my long time opponent.

Good to see you, Mike! [:)]

I wonder if a certain German tourist made his drive in time?

He actually did! Made great time and ran into almost no traffic on over 700 miles of interstate 95! [X(]

Happy belated Thanksgiving to you lot. [:)]

Spent all day yesterday, preparing to eat, eating, and cleaning up from eating. [:D]

It was great to have a stuffed German tourist for thanksgiving this year. [:)]

What?

You didn't buy HS2000 (aka Springfield Armory XD, XDM, or XD-S as it is known in the USA)?

Hi Leo,

I fell in love with the P226 15 years ago when I fired one for the first time. It's a balance, hand feel, grip and natural sighting thing that I've never seen replicated in another semi-auto frame. I've got nothing against the other handgun manufacturers, just this one was 'meant' for me. [8D]

Hmm. Looks like a nice little toy. Have to get a weapons license sometime. Nice relaxation.

Well, it's no Bofors, but it'll do. [:D]

How difficult is it to get a weapons license to purchase in Sweden? Is there a difference between handgun availability versus 'hunting' types: shotgun / rifle? Can you get conceal / carry permits too?

We went from 60F a couple days ago to a sleet / snow storm last night. Dropped about 45 degrees. High today will be 25F with snow and ice on the ground. Winter just came by to say "remember me?"

I imagine that driving at 90MPH on the shoulders *around* the traffic helped? [;)]

110 miles was the fastest I drove.

But do you know what I hate? Driving behind a pro at 100 mph+ who propably has sharp eyesight, radar warner and a trapster app on his phone - and your gas run out and you have to refuel... [:@]

It's very hard to get a weapons license here. If you own land with wildlife in it or have access to it via the owner, you could go a hunting course and after passing, get a license for up to four hunting weapons. Getting license for a handgun requires that you're an member of some "rifle club" and actively competing. Getting a concealed carry permit requires that the police has agreed that there is an actual and active threat against your person and that they can't give you a lifeguard. If so, you can get a temporary weapons license.

I have never, as a private person, owned any firearm.

We here have +10 almost all the time - albeit with constant fog and overcast...
