Cannot Log In to Multiplayer Lobby

When I try to log onto the Multiplayer lobby it tells me to use the Slitherine Login info associated to my games serial number.

However I did not buy it with a Slitherine account. I bought it with a Matrix account.

I presume I use my Matrix Members club id to log on.

However it also says that logins must be at least 6 characters long and mine is only 5.

The login screen automatically has my login name with a underscore in front of it to make it 6 characters. Fine. I use my Matrix member password and try to log on.

It starts to log on and then I recieve an error message that says " Syntax Error". I m hoping someone can help me with this.

Thanks for your response. I will try that but it stipulates that the account has to be associated with the game serial number. So I don't know how that will work but I will try right now.

I have accounts at both and bought this game at Matrix. Never had a problem with login but maybe it checks both places and I am usually login in at both.

Edit: I just went through the motions and noticed that it does ask for Slitherine login. I must have done that but don't have a problem with buying the game at Matrix.

That did not work. It tells me that the email is already in use. And of course it is by me.......... If I try to login with my Matrix information it does not work.

I registered a new account at Slitherine. When I tried to register my game it said it was already registered.

When I then tried to log in to the multiplayer lobby it said my login was not associated to my game serial number.

I hope someone from Matrix or Slitherine checks this thread and can sort it out.

I use the same email addy and screen name at both but different passwords. Try "forgot my password" at slith.

bought and registered CoH at Matrix only

have accounts at both with email and screen name the same but different passwords

You may already have a Slith account and don't remember. You do not need to register the Matrix CoH at Slitherine to play or login to the lobby.

As JD said try to reset your Slitherine account password. Search your emails to find one from them. The email usually has your login name included.

I assume you get the "Enter Serial Number" screen when you click Multiplayer? This should be filled in already (at least it is in mine).

Hi Junk,

That was the solution. I already had a slitherine account I had forgotten about. Did as you suggested and all is well. Hopefully I will see you in the lobby sometime.
