Turn 9 - 15th October 1914

The situation in Serbia is beyond redemption.... The British and French Fleets are sunk[X(] as Belgrade falls to the rampant AH.

In France its just more of the same as the French and British objective is to form whatever line they can (preferably behind rivers)...

Turn 10 - 29th October 1914

The Germans seem to have split their army into Infantry in the west and Garrisons in the East. The French leave a Garrison in Verdun to delay the insatiable German juggernaut, while a British army builds up south and west of Rouen.

I think you should have tried to hold on to Verdun, you could do it [:)]

Turn 8 - 1st October 1914

Its disaster at every turn [X(]. The Serbs are in disarray Crown Prince Alexander is wondering where it all went wrong! Belgrade is about to fall...

By operating your fleets in AH's back yard, you could be in for some trouble Mr.W!![X(]

Turn 11 - 12th November 1914

Well I'm really glad this is all going to be over by Christmas [:D]..this is proving a distinctly uncomfortable experience [&:]

More repair and re-organisation is the order of the day in order to try and repair shattered lines in France. The Serbian Army has just about ceased to exist - one more turn should do it [X(].

And just to compound misery corner... the Turks are in the war!!

Can it get any worse for the Entente?....I think I know the answer to that....

Turn 12 - 26th November 1914

Not much to report here. The German sub fleet re-appear in the Channel and I continue to get a general kicking, aside from that, its all fairly quiet [8|]

Orm, any chance that you have a sudden urge to go goat herding in Nepal and have to abandon the game? [;)]

Nah. I plan to have a vacation in Paris with my honor guard but, unfortunately, there is a delay getting there due to a massive traffic jam. [;)]

Turn 13 - 10th December 1914

The lack of an undo can be really critical... I lose the French river line along the Seine/Yonne by miscalculating movement points... thats going to be expensive [X(]

The Serbs Army is officially like the Dodo...it is no more [&:]

The Turks are toying with the British in Egypt. An attack must come soon.

Turn 14 for Central Powers.

Assault versus Paris seems to be a costly affair so I try to maneuver towards Lyon. Unfortunately the French are to fast and create a defensive line. But since they are not entrenched I plan to break through during the winter.

Edit: My attacks on the British battleship was not going as well as expected and I expect that it will cost my navy dearly. But at least I am in port hexes.

Turn 14 - 24th December 1914

..and the above details the loss of the Yonne line where the Germans have created a bridgehead over the river (also see below after the Allies turn).

A German cruiser force is sunk in the Channel, but the battlefleet remains ominously in place......

In other news, the Turks surround the British Garrison in Izmalia

While AH units are no doubt winging their way to the Russian Front.

Turn 15 - 7th January 1915

As expected, the RN's Grand Fleet is destroyed [X(]

The Turks seize Cairo.

The AH close in on the Russian front line..although do not close up. Otherwise the Russian Front remains quiet.

If there is any more good news from Allied HQ I'll be sure to let you know as quickly as possible [:D]

Turn 16 - 21st January 1915

Satisfied with sinking the Grand Fleet, the German battlefleet exit the channel stage right....

Meanwhile a roving AH fleet sinks a British convoy.

In a rare victory for the French, a German unit is detroyed northwest of Dijon.

Turn 17 - 4th February 1915

Little to report other than it is more of the same.... The Russian Front remains quiet. I assume Orm will spring a surprise here...or maybe he is just waiting while the main effort is concentrated against the French and British.

Turn 18 - 18th February 1915

The French continue to fall back and still no action in Russia... meanwhile in the Channel and the Baltic, submarines hit convoys.

Here is a picture of Southern Russia

Turn 19 - 4th March 1915

More attacks on channel convoys by the Germans, but at least the troops manage to get to France - albeit under strength.

With no build points available, the French and British can do no more than retreat to shorten their lines.

A German cavalry appears, probing the right-wing of the Russian Army. He gets an artillery salvo in the kisser for his trouble, but is able to retreat.
