It's a random-ish user name assigned by Yahoo when I signed up. I am the 85th Neilm in the UK apparently. I don't know how the ranking was done!!!

I am significantly older than 27.

I had a choice this morning...actually do some work or finally catch up with the Worst AAR in the history of the world. We all know I made the right choice!

See..THAT is the reason the Eurozone is slipping back into recession. Not enough productivity! [;)]

Now, in my case, I "wasted" 3 1/2 minutes adding silly seaplane search arcs to the map not out idleness or sloth, but because I am making a political statement...the John Gault thing.

By ra way, please tell us the "85" is the year you graduated from university or got married or something and NOT the year you were born.
I lurk therefore I am

Now why do that [&:]

There's this handy little feature which will display all search arcs on the map - but don't ask me what it is 'cos I can't remember. I did read the manual 3 years ago but have forgotten a lot of it [:(]

Of course you would like us to believe that you've never read it ......

Why yes! I think it's ALT/CTRL/F6 while simultaneously making Maori war chant sounds into the mike.

The range of the arcs is misleading. IIRC the true search only extends about 12 hexes even on longer-legged aircraft. [:)]

Sprior - Disclosure - I'm a tax auditor....We'll chat about the offshore account later. I'll also want to discuss Milo.

And I'm an enrolled agent -- my job is to defend you against people like the Colonel!

I'm from the Government, and I'm just here to help.

Don't be fooled Sprior, CaptDave is almost certainly on the side of Evil. Undoubtedly he's a Japanese Fanboy, probably a spy for Rear Admirar Nerson, and worst of all, he likely bills by the hour.

Aaaand - you just want Milo to pay his fair tax share on the kick-backs he gets from the government, right?

With 1st Bn, 503rd PIR

Post by Cap Mandrake »

***********With 1st Bn, 503rd PIR, Dadjangas, Mindanao, Feb. 22, 1943(c)**************

The lead company of 1st Bn, 503rd crests a small hill and enters the outskirts of Dadjangas. They are met by a small group of dignitaries and children in local costume. There is one white man among them who seems to be the spokesperson.

White man in linen slacks: Welcome! Welcome to Dadjangas. On behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and Bali Hai Club, Dadjangas, welcome! <he hands out hand made American flags>

There is chilled Papaya juice on the left there boys. Please have some. Welcome young man. Captain, when you deem it appropriate there is chilled Pabst Blue Ribbon in the club. Welcome all!...............

Woman in low cut top robs petrol station in Australia. Police are looking into it.

Probably a clever ruse to keep the clerk from looking at her face. The problem is the security tape. They will just get straight female officers or gay male officers to review it. Did anyone here notice what she looked like?

Could be an interesting identity parade:

Too big.
Too small.
Too perky.
Too droopy.
Aaah, just right.

I said touch her on the SHOULDER!

Sorry.

I did my part as an international citizen and stared at the video. Several times. Unfortunately, I was unable to identify her completely. I may have to look again.

"made a bust" [:)]

Jokes about breastesses are easy to make because the English language has about 312 different words to describe them. It's sort of like the Innuit and 65 words for "snow".

***************Feb. 22, 1943(c) (After rooking at map)************

--That AP thak "took one up the chuff" is at 50% flotation damage and will have to divert to Namlea to disembark. She was carrying about 400 Marines and some guns so they will have to be left behind. The rest of the taffy will head for Dadjangas.

--Operation Skinflint going pretty well so far with the exception of the torpedoed AP. The other bug is the airfield at Sangi is not going to be ready on D-Day+5 (the field is at 10% at dusk on D-Day). That was a bit too ambitious. Suppries and an EAB unlaoding at Sangi now. Cebu USN base force with beachmasters (sailors not walruses) is en route to Dadjangas via LCT and whatever those other troop carrying small landing craft are called.

--APD's disembarking Army infantry at Dadjangas tonight if things go well. I hope the guy in charge understands he has to get out of there by daybreak. Sea Bees landing tonight at Dadjangas right on schedule.

--The rest of 503rd will try to air drop at Dajangas tomorrow.

Or: In a brilliant feat of forensic science, the suspect was identified by the headlights on her Winnebago.
