Those Claudes have the potential to make this enterprise expensive. I've accomplished about all I could have expected....maybe it's time
to back off and regroup. Bring that third carrier to bear w/ these two. That kind of thing. Plus, our presence could be needed around
the Rabaul area according to recent developments so I'll head that way with the carriers.

Yes, it's definately time to quit doing this kind of thing within range of those Oscars. This is getting way to expensive for the ships I have
opportunity to attack.

And then the Japs take a dump on my shipping again:

And the KB did a passing air strike on the facilities and damaged some things but I don't think they are coming to stay this time. I'm
thinking they are really just passing by on their way to bigger and better things.

Those Nates north of Kota Bharu are certainly doing their job........I can't seem to get through the CAP the Japs have put up. How come
when I play the Jap player I can't seem to get this kind of performance from my Nates?

I could have sworn that I put all the B-17's on Naval Search missions.....I guess there was a squadron I missed. I made sure this time.

It's my own fault Pick got hit.....I keep encouraging them to attack on the surface and save torps.

7 Jap casualties isn't worth the supply burned to cause them. I'd better knock that off and just roll w/ the punches.

There's a lot of failed industries still. Melborne, Sydney, Pearl Harbor.....a lot of the big names are on there too.

I rounded up all the damaged ships at Shortlands, victums of Jap air power, gave them an escort, and pointed them to the repair yard at
Brisbane. Brisbane is only a level 10 repair yard and I'm wondering if the CA can even dock in it. They probably won't get there so I
don't need to worry about it probably.

TF 138 was originally going to Lae but since we now know that there's a Jap carrier within range of Shortlands.......well, Tulagi might be a
better place to take the 11th Australia Rgt. I need to get my own air power into those air fields on Shortlands and Tulagi both. Maybe I
could arrange some kind of boat delivery like the Japs do.

The Gull Battalion is being unloaded at Lae as we speak and it's a race against time. It's not going to be much longer that Elmer is
going to notice that there's a ship unloading in it's jurisdiction so to speak. And then the bombing will start. That Jap carrier is probably
still in the area somewhere.
