The home islands will soon receive about 123K in resources. That ought to help out somewhat. Hakodate has been one of the better
sources for resources. It's not going to run out anytime soon.

Definitely a regular reader here Larry - I like the ligt hearted approach you have to your game AARs
Thanks heaps for posting. So you like the light-hearted approach? I didn't even know I was doing that. Glad you like it. I'll try to do it
some more.

Here's the condition of the troops I have at Port Moresby. As you can see I'm doing a lot better than I used to. I remember a time when
everybody was out of supply and now it's only two units that are seriously low. With some more people and just as important, some more
supply I might be able to actually capture PM. I'm thinking PM is the key to this Rabaul area. That and Rabaul itself.

Your strongest unit is still targeting Chiba, maybe you should change that?

Whoa, good catch. I did change it. Thanks for your input(s). Part of why I lose these things is not paying attention to details. A fresh
pair of eyes is important.

I just now discovered quite by accident that Iloilo has a bunch of resources that need to be harvested. And that it's a source of them.
That will come in handy when the one-time-only type sources are depleted finally. And there's quite a few of those kind.

Here's all the TK's that I own. Not as many are handling oil as I would like. And it's dis-heartening to see how many are empty. I'd like to
see about half of them hauling oil from Palembang as it's up to 127K in oil now. And it's still piling up.

Five of my AKE's are pulling into Bubble Drop looking for supplies. I haven't decided where to send these guys when they get their
supplies. I've already spread out a bunch just north of Oz and there's already 2 of them at Wake. I can see me putting these guys
up near Manila somewhere just so the BB's can bombard w/o having to go very far for a re-arm run.

I'm going to install the 6th Shipping Engineers at Palembang to help the loading and unloading go a tiny bit faster or something.

I'm reading everything Larry.

You have a very engaging style.

I can hardly wait to start my first campaign, going to do another run through if Guadacanal scenario first though.

Well thank you very muchly. I appreciate it. And for saying so. I need people to ask questions and make comments and your's are
welcome.

It took me many years to hone it to the perfection it is now. It all depends on how much Black Label I've had.

Are you going to play the Japs or the Allied side? Or maybe both? I tried the Guadacanal scenario but found it boring after the first
say 30 turns. Also, unless the Jap has an AR or two he's out of luck with the ship repair yards. There aren't any. If the Jap gets a
ship with serious damage the only thing he can do is park it at Truk or some other out of the way place.

TF 488 has a cargo consisting of 2 Emily's and it can't dock at Marcus Island so what I think I'll do is unload it at Saipan and fly them
to their destination. They have a fairly substantial range, it should be possible. If not I'll ship them down to Truk and fly them to Rabaul
or somewhere.

Jim and I have exchanged moves and I did the combat movie and so these are fresh combat results:

I pushed a DD and an E boat into the hex occupied by one of my subs and engaged the Allied ships there and so far I'm not so sure I'm
winning. The E boat is on fire and there's more Allied ships coming my way. I think I need some backup. I have the I-9 and the I-175
headed that way but they won't get there for at least a day and I don't have any surface ships I can send handy. There's a CA at Tulagi
but it's too far away to influence the engagement significantly for at least two days. I'm thinking I'm going to lose these ships.

My Nells and Betty's did their daily Darwin strike and I'm guessing that my naval bombardment discouraged Jim's adventurism and he has
removed his planes from Darwin. Otherwise there might have been some CAP.

And then there were a bunch of sub attacks that I'm not reporting on and then there was this strike on Manila:

And then there was another Manila strike and again it's the non-combatants that caught the most casualties. I guess the combat dudes
were dug-in and protected from the air or something.
