And theres that two-week space in late July when we might even see a post from Andre. [:'(]

Well, Onime, I didn't think you were into that, but I'll see what bikini shots of myself I can rustle up for you come late July. Not that there's anything wrong with that. [:D]

Careful, you'll scare away all the deer and moose. Not to mention the women and children.

Taking the Skins tonight and only getting 2.5 [X(]

Skins WON by one! YAY!

Are you quoting your own post, fodder?

[;)]

Good call on the game (and the spread!). You've been doing well on your NFL bets recently, no?

Yes, lately I'm doing very well. [:)] I need to. Those replacement officals cost me a number of games early this year and put me in a deep hole. [:(]

Ok, now time to pack the computer for moving.

I'll be back in a couple of days. Guess I then gotta set up and use my mobile as a router as well, as I have no cable connection until 1st jan.

Laters guys. Be well.

I think youre pretty lucky that your cell companies will let you do that. Here, most either block tethering outright or charge you an arm and a leg to use it.

GOOD LUCK?? Are we not suppose to run and hide whenever Vikings are on the move.

Well, he's only moving some 15km. I think Vikings just strap the furniture to their reindeer and hitch their moose(s?) to their loads to move them short distances like that.

Oh, good. So, I can tell the nuns down the street that they are safe.

Maybe we should invent a new THREAD rule, that the ones currently having summer should also post bikini pics to reminds the others what summer is like? [:D]

OH Boy. Well, for nine months of the year I can easly post lots of pictures of pretty girls in bikinis. Then there's that three month span when the beaches are over run with Canadain snow birds. I do not want to go blind, I will not go to the beach during those three months.

I think 3/4 of those "Canadians" are Long Islanders.

Maybe, I never really asked any of them. I have been near enough to hear them at times, do Long Islanders speak frog?

Hi all,

Something for John... [:)]

This is "Prana" - the most beautiful yacht I have ever seen with my own eyes... I took the pictures with my iPhone at night (hence not so good quality)...[&o]

If I am not mistaken 1 week on her costs 250.000 $ (yep two hundred and fifty thousands US dollars [X(])...

Wow. 51.7m and single mast. Wow. Back in the day, that would have been 3 masts ....
I think a lot of it is ‘my winkie is bigger’. I, too, would have liked to see it as a schooner-type, with full-batten, America’s Cup-style high batten, square top, sails. What they got now is just too tall for a luxury yacht. The mast is well into the 30 meter line and although there is better breeze up there, there’s not enough useable sail area on a Marconi rigged sloop to do anything but make ya tippy. And the keel moments aren’t deep enough to compensate.

Admittedly, the Marconi points higher, but you need a crew that knows what it’s doing and people don’t seriously race these things either. A schooner-type would actually give ya more useable sail area, be less tippy, and work better with the semi shoal draft keel. And the sticks would be lower aspect, and less prone to cracking and breaking in a blow. Put a schooner rig on that puppy and she’ll rape your lizard on any point of sail except hard on the nose (and luxury passengers aren’t into that degree of excitement, anyway).

Maybe one day some gazillionaire will kick my butt out of retirement and say “Ok, bigmouth, show me what you got. whip it, but whip it good.” I can do up the Dubois profile with my ideas of rig and keel, if anyone’s interested (and has a gazillionaire friend that wants to take a chance).

Btw, did you know that 175’ is the length between perps of the USS Constitution?

Good pics, Yuri. Thanks for sharing. Anyone got a bead on Jap pictures from Guadalcanal during the same timeframe? I've never seen any.

Quite possible. I hardly ever check the main forum.
