Upgrade dates

Is anyone else as frustrated as I am that new equipment is available to support forces before my core force? When new equipment becomes available the support force can buy it at the beginning of a battle but the core has to wait until the end to upgrade.

Would Matrix consider changing this? I believe that this is changed in SPWW2.

This also means that the AI gets the new stuff before we do

I too would prefer to be able to upgrade my forces before the battle rather than afterward, but I guess it could be rationalized as the new equipment actually arriving just in time...

hmm, is this changable?

I'd also ask about getting the equipment lists to only show units within the same class (again) as searching through the list for the new SPW can be time consuming
