Got a phone call from folks in Huntsville. Project money approved for two areas: motors and systems, and bio sciences. Ain't jack compared to the Chinese, but the Huntsville guys have been doing a lot of this on their own nickel.
WE ARE GOING TO MARS. WE ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO GO MARS. And there's no point to just going there, you gotta go there and set up a Base. WE ARE GOING TO MARS AND ARE GOING TO STAY THERE.
I'm selling ex-pat tickets for $1 plus the cost to boost your a$$. If I was young enough, I would be outa here in a heartbeat. MARS!!!!

Was browsing the Audible catalog and stumbled upon World War Z. Very enjoyable read (or listen in my case). Definitely not your average zombie story. More of a socio-economic-phychological essay. He's certainly no Heinlein but pretty fun nonetheless.
