OH MY GOD, WE'RE GOING TO MARS.

Got a phone call from folks in Huntsville. Project money approved for two areas: motors and systems, and bio sciences. Ain't jack compared to the Chinese, but the Huntsville guys have been doing a lot of this on their own nickel.

WE ARE GOING TO MARS. WE ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO GO MARS. And there's no point to just going there, you gotta go there and set up a Base. WE ARE GOING TO MARS AND ARE GOING TO STAY THERE.

I'm selling ex-pat tickets for $1 plus the cost to boost your a$$. If I was young enough, I would be outa here in a heartbeat. MARS!!!!

BTW, I remember thoroughly enjoying my tour at the NASA Huntsville Alabama... I took many many pictures (it was the age of old camera films - long before digital camera revolution)...

Whet he's trying to say is that the date 12/21/12 is not based on the "western" calendar, but extrapolated from the Mayan's own dating system. This coming Friday just happens to be the day that the end of the Mayan cycle falls on. [:D]
