RE: 600,000 Japs retreat from India, battle in Marshall get more intensive
I find out that US marines are suffering a much larger casualties during the invasion than US Army. The similar results showed below happened repeatedly.
2nd Marine Regiment completely lost combat capacity after the landing, despite that this high odd win.

An unexpected CV battle
AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR Aug 22, 43
Japs tried to bombard Maloelap but the bombardment fleet, mainly the old and slow battleships failed to perform a night bombardment and leave the dangerous sea. Thus the covering KB didn't get to save place, all the bombers on board are still performing ASW tasks so the Allies got a chance to attack without facing counter-attack. This a dream scenario but Allies Dive bombers didn't handle the situation very well.
CVE Shinyo and CVE Hosho are confirmed to sink afterwards, and CV Junyo is reported to be sunk by not confirmed.

RE: battle in Marshall get more intensive
Good job on those barges and the CL TF!
The CLs and DDs could also have dropped troops at Roi-Namur as a Fast Tpt TF. Any indication they were up there?

Thanks for reading the AAR BBfanboy,
Yes, Japs are sending troops to Roi-Namur through both air and sea. And the number of troops are growing fast there.
I tried to LRCAP Roi-Namur and intercepts Japs Patrol planes, but not very effective.

Good job on Kwaj as well!
I am wondering if LSTs can survive a single mine hit - how did yours do?
What level port/airfield are Kwaj and how damaged are they? IOW, how soon can you use it to bomb Roi Namur?[:D]

RE: battle in Marshall get more intensive
LST is too fragile to survive a mine I think.
Although by this time of the game, I haven't hit many Japanese made mines yet.
It looks like Japs didn't lay too many mines in these area yet.
