without getting the st mod, is there a way to add the ship set to the game to just use as normal? Add to the existing choices when building ships.

Also any defiant class? havent seen that in the picard era mod, since that was ds9, maybe it should ne tng mod, since every after kirk is the next generation!

Hello Cruis,

If you look in the files for the Picard Era, you'll see folder called ShipImages.

Inside this folder there are 12 folders containing the different races ship sets.

The Federation set is in the folder called family0.

If you delete every other folder apart from family0, that will leave just this ship set in the mod. It will also remove all the race information, however since Humans use the family0 ship set by default, you'll get the effect you're looking for.

The Picard Era uses a little trick to gain additional ship images for your designs.

Look in the family12 folder, and you'll see lots of ships with names that don't really match. e.g the Defiant is the last picture, and it is named trooptransport.

You can take this image and change its name to escort then move it into the family0 folder to overwrite the current escort image.

Okay, IGard, one of the things you need to learn is, we Americans do not understand real English.
What does hirsute mean? Tough, real men?
Or is it a rank higher than Centurion or Subcommander?
Or does it mean Data has stolen more ale and you are downright angry about it?[:D]

He means his legs are more hairy than those shown. Hirsute means hairy in any alien language except Reptilian (which I'd guess would be translated to scaly). [:D]

BTW...Igard is still HIGH UP in the Romulan Senate. I just think he has been title demoted to Centurion due
to the LARGE amount of UNACCOUNTED FOR Romulan Ale from the Romulan Planetary Stores that had
been assigned to him over the course of this last Galactic year that has always MYSTERIOUSLY disappeared! [&:]
