Evening tithe... what a beautiful day in paradise, early summer and it was 27C at 1500, and it is still 23C now at 2027. The Gardener has just been here today (I can't do it anymore), and he cut the hedge and the lawns. I love the smell of freshly cut grass, and with the smell of the hedge on top of that. I'm in heaven, and life is good. [;)]

We here have rain, rain, rain... after big snow (50+ centimeters0 7+ days ago we now have dirty black slush...

+1 Every animal we have ever had has been from the shelter.

Love going there to pick out animals. Too bad I can't take them all...thats the tough part.

We only took cats from there - and all were nuts.

Well, they *were* cats, weren't they? [&:]

A tomcat jumping into your face, hitting your nose with his head - but not biting - while slapping BOTH of your ears at the same time with his paws - again without the claws out - sounds somewhat weird, doesn't it.

I never heard that from another cat. But I still loved Snoopy!

Not every animal but a few. We have a pound puppy now!

5 cats and 2 dogs here, all of which were rescued before even making it to the shelter. My lovely bride is a vet, so she gets first dibbs. [:D]

Had the afternoon off work (hurrah!) [8D] to look after a poorly child (boo!) [:(] At least they're sometimes quiet when they are ill...

Never mind, last day at work in 2012 tomorrow! Come Friday I'll either be on leave or hiding from the Apocalypse in my specially built shelter (i.e. under the quilt). Will there be a Christmas 2012? Have I wasted my money on presents that won't be opened? Can I get away with eating all the chocolate from Josh's advent calendar? Only time will tell!

I never suggested they were nuts in a uniform manner. Usually they're nuts in their own particular idiom.
