M8 HMC like a super tank

Seems like the M8 HMC is way too effective. It is easily able to destroy PzIV with its 75mm howitzer than a Sherman is able to. Is this vehicle not over effective in the game?

Yup, HMC is a Panther killer

But was it so effective against PzKpfw V ? I think it should be reviewed in first patch.

The M8 HMC has a HEAT round that is only marginally more effective than the Sherman's AP round.  It can defeat a Pz IV with it, but a Panther would require a side shot, or a lucky critical hit.
 
The hull shadow bug will be addressed in the first full patch.
