Strategic bombing overrated?

Post by ulver »

In every single game as the Entente where France didn’t fall I have reduced the Ruhr to rubble ( 0 PB) by the end of 1915 with French bombers - that seems massively excessive. By the end of the war 4 engine heavy strategic bombers were being build that might have accomplished something like that but not in 1915.

You really need to remove that strategic bombardment from bombers until much later technology is researched. It is perfectly fine as a late war what-if technology but right now it is just to easy.

Also agree, strategic bombing is enormously overpowered.

Playing as the Central powers I have seen the Ruhr flattened. This needs to be fixed.

In the future you may referee to me as Ulver”Balloon Bomber” Nielsen. [:D]

On a more serious note I don’t think it needs to be removed, just dramatically toned down. Also fighters needs to be much better at defending bombing targets

I'll throw in my support for this idea, they are all valid and would greatly improve the game IMO. [;)]
