Continuous play after victory

Continuous play after victory

I just got the game last month and finished it as an Axis player. I really enjoyed it and have a question / suggestion:

Is there a way to allow an Axis player to continue the game after reaching enough victory points? Just like Alexander the Great who took his army all the way to India, it is my dream to take the army to the Urals (just for fun). Its a pity to leave the eastern part of the map unused.

As far as I know, there's no easy way to continue on after the game ends. I understand the desire to continue on, but this is not something that can be done. Congrats on winning the game!

This is the turn when I encircled a big number of troops when victory was declared. If only I am allowed to play few more turns, I can most certainly destroy the pocket.

They surrendered - along with the rest of the Soviet Union!
