Wow, how long have you been busy creating this map?

It has taken about a week, to do this. I have just finished the SFT's as of last night and now putting units onto the map. I have been on vacation since New Years day, so I have had the time to work on this.

It is rather surprising, the scale of it, it's also done from an interesting perspective. What did you start with ? Google Earth ? From what elevation ?

I didn't use Google earth, just a map of Russia and the surrounding nations. As for the scale, i tried to do it as best I could but it is off some. Also it should equal out to a little under or over 70 miles a hex, but I'm sure it is off as I stated above. I have also increased China and added more of southern China onto the map, picture below.
