I ended the turn again, so these are fresh combat results: One of my ships ran across a Jap sub again. There were lots of Jap sub
attacks.

Ah so, there's at least one Jap sub near Horn Island. Good to know. I'll try to go around her.

I'm not sure that my carrying this oil physically all the way to Melborne is the fastest way to get it there. I'm starting to think that just
dropping it off at the railhead at Perth is better. It, the oil, would get to Melborne faster that way. Anybody know for sure?

EDIT: Yeah, I took a second look at the map and decided that the rail goes up to Geraldton and that is even closer yet to the boat. So
let's go there and dump the oil.

TF 110 is making the next step in the chain of islands to get to Brisbane, the final goal so far. Also, I just now noticed that Canton Island
has several engineers and my first impulse was to maybe spread them out and get lots of places building ports and airfields, but then I
thought about it some more and I'm thinking that maybe having them all together is a plus because I can get Canton to a level 3 airfield
quicker w/ all of the engineers together and that would be a good thing to have bombers passing through here on their way to Oz. So I'm
going to make a mental note to move the engineers when the airfield gets to level 3 if needed so that bombers can come this way from
Pearl. It's probably not possible to make a chain of airfields for the fighters to make it from Pearl to Oz. Too many places that are too
wide to fit the max range of the fighters. D'oh. I'll have to ship the fighters to Oz.

Whilst not oil, supply and fuel certainly moves well from Perth (or Geraldton) across to the East coast.

I have been dropping loads of both there in my versus the AI game.

Oil was mainly dropped at Darwin, which was probably a mistake on my part.

First of all, thanks for your input. I'm always willing to listen to experts. And your news about supply and fuel moving well is good news. I'm
going to try it w/ oil too. And about Darwin........um....I'm not sure the rail at Dawin goes very far south.....like to Katherine or something.
