And I lose another ship to the PBY's from Java. I may have to evacuate all the ships away from Christmas Island IO for a while until the
PBY's go away.

18 of my Oscars jump three of his Hurricans and one of MY guys goes down. D'oh. This is going to be a long war.

And of course, the Allies had to do their daily ground bombardment of Port Moresby. I'm hoping that when everybody is supplied that
the adjustment of the AV will be more better.

If you've been keeping up w/ what happens in this AAR you may remember that I transfered some Zero's to Jaluit without looking to see if
there was an air base there ( and there wasn't ) and they were transfered to Jaluit as damaged and all 27 if them were down for maint.
And now this turn I find them at Jaluit and all serviceable. They were transfered to the Kaga w/o a problem and all 27 of them are ready
for combat now. Kool.

This makes just about an even dozen ships that were sacrificed to bring some supply to Port Moresby's Jap ground force. But it's so
important that it had to be done. I'm going to lose these two ships too. I guess the trick is to bombard the Allied guns till they're silent
and THEN bring in the supply.

I've plotted a course for I-4 that I think might give a good chance of an event. A bug has fallen into my spiders web. I can feel the
vibrations of the bug trying to get away but I'm as fast as the wind.

As far as resources go at Amami Oshima, there isn't enough left there to pay for the trip there to get it. I'm running into more and more
sources of resources that are going dry......I'll have to find more sources and pretty quick.

TF 35 is the victum of an attack of the Allied PBY's and one of the ships is still burning. I'm sending them to Oosthaven as a temporary
measure so that I can get a carrier over here to sweep the airfields and find the PBY's and kill them. I've got a CVE or CVL near Saigon
that I can motor over here. She's going to have to swap out the Kate's to make room for some Zero's because the capacity is only 27 as
I recall.

TF 36 was unloading fuel at Salamaua and I look around for better opportunities and I find Buna which is going to receive the heavy guns
that bombarded Port Moresby last night and they are probably going to be thursty so I'm thinking I'll just send TF 36 down to Buna to try
to prevent a shortage before it happens.

TF 51 is a sub babysitting Port Hedland and she reports that an AM and an AK have come to visit and should I try to sink them. Which I
answer afirmative and start planning to get a sub out to replace TF 51 when it invariably will run out of torps. I've got a sub that's just
about to pull into Oosthaven that might have the range to make it out here to Port Hedland. I needed a spare sub anyway.

I'm just about able to get my northernmost picket line almost lined up and ready. The idea is to have a ship every couple of hexes so that
those nasty Allied ships can't sneak through w/o warning and threaten my shipping.

I-166 got damaged by a rampaging KV and took 10 hits of damage and has to leave Diego Garcia but the I-123 will replace her so there
will be only a short duration of interruption of service on that location. The problem is that KV that hit the I-166.......it's probably still there
so the I-123 will probably follow the I-166 to the repair barn and there will be no service on this location at all. Too dangerous. That's
what I think will happen. If the I-123 can hang around for a while then maybe all is not lost yet.

Port Hedland has had Allied visitors about twice in the last week, it seems like. So I'm thinking it might be time to put a minefield there to
give the Allies something to think about. TF 66 has graciously volunteered to deliver some mines to Port Hedland and is on the first step
to get there, Babar.

I'm going through the task forces one at a time deciding whether to change what they're already doing or not and I get to
TF 70 and to my surprise I find an Allied TF on the map. There's only my Jap DD to his south to contend with them......I'd better try to get
him some back up and see what else is there. I've got some heavy iron at Tulagi, I think, that I can re-direct to here.

TF 173 is the CVL Nisshin and I'm racing north at mission speed to Yokohoma to get her repaired. She's naked ( w/o planes ) and kind of
vulnerable right now. Had 4 torps shot at her last night in a close call and the sub is probably chasing her. The Nisshin has an escort
but that didn't prevent the attack last night. Maybe I should have sent more escorts w/ her.

I'm calculating that there's not going to be much action in the Brisbane area for a while so I can detatch this sub from it's east coast
babysitting duty and send it to check out that Allied TF. It's going to take about 4 days to get there though that's the only catch in this
plan. I'm going to need something else as a solution to this situation.

I thought I might as well get the two northern carriers together and line up some AO's and make a tour of Alaska or something. Stir the
pot a little bit. Go see what's in Seattle these days. Come to think of it.......I'll probably need more than two carriers for that. I'll see if I
can't russle up another carrier from somewhere to go with these guys.
