Keyboard Controls splash screen

Just before tutorial (and scenario?) start, the game displays a nifty Keyboard Controls splash screen, showing a keyboard plus annotations. Great to have in printed form, if only I could achieve it.

I have a dual monitor setup with the game, and splash screen, showing in the left monitor.

I do a Shift-Print Screen to capture the display to the Windows (7) clipboard. When I paste it into my graphics software (Corel PaintShop Pro X5), I get this:



Um, no show. [:(]

There is an in-game Help Topic (accessed via the "h" key), Keyboard Commands. But it is not as informative, or as good looking, as the pre-scenario Keyboard Controls splash screen.

Can anybody point me to a downloadable .jpg (or whatever) of the splash screen? (I failed to find it in the Game Manual.) I'd sure like to have that as a printout.

It's available on the B&F toolbar 'in game' menu...top of the list:

I'm blind. I can't find it.

It seems my graphics software can't read .dds files. (I tried using Linux GIMP too.) I may have to download and install a DDS viewer app. [:(]

Once again, top of the B&F pop up Menu, in game.

I use Paint.NET to open dds files, it's a free app, google to find it.

I downloaded (and compiled) and installed the DDS plugin for GIMP on my Linux workstation. (I also had to download and install several devel packages necessary for the compile.)

Next, I loaded up into GIMP the Base\Graphics\Screens\SPLASH_Gettysburg_8.dds file, then exported it as a .jpg file, posted here.

It prints out just fine. A most handy reference!
