please help

Post by GeneralSauce »

Hey guys. I just put pretty much every map ever made that is supposedly compatible for cross of Iron. Now when i launch the battle maker option (not regular play). I get this error
"one or more of the parameters is passed to the function". WHAT THE HELL? never heard of that one in 15 years of CC.

try the save game fix dwnloadable from here: http://closecombat.matrixgames.com/CoI/coimods.html

browse to your C:\Matrix Games\Close Combat Cross of Iron\Close Combat III\Games folder and install

do not pass any parameters to the function, it always causes problems.

I haven't checked that yet, but I think, in fact i'm 99.9% positive i figured it out. You can only have so many maps in your map folder. Most people may never know this because it can hold A LOT of maps. im at the point now where i works fine, but if i add ANY more files to folder, i get the error....so i think that's it. thank you so much for your support!

if you open the folder with explorer.

sort by extension

select all .bgm (shift and click)

it will tell you how many files selected.
