Image I have just received a rebuke from the Imperator Iguanidae, one of the greatest potentates in the galaxy.

Notice the large crest on his head? Mine gets like that too, but we Gorns only display like that during intercourse. That's why I had to crop the picture.

Some of you may be wondering how you tell a female Gorn from a male. We don't actually know either, but if you lay eggs, you're a girl. We Gorn only have one all-purpose lower orifice (it's more efficient) and both sexes have a protuberance that swells when excited. Only the male protuberances have these frills that appear and swell out when they are really excited, unfortunately causing difficulty with withdrawal. I had that happen to me once in an awful situation involving a rhinocerus. [:-]
More horny than a rhinocerus - I'm impressed![&o]

Well, Gorns don't cry unless they are biting something, so I guess you would be the second kid, screaming "Oh my GOD, I got a KB 42!"

Terribly sorry for the delay. On top of the tribulations I have been going through that you're aware of, I've been subjected to even greater indignities. It has been discovered that I have a severe infiltration under my scales of salmonella. Now as many of you know, reptiles such as myself are immune to that particular toxin. However, I fear that on the occasions that Raiden is downwind of me, he will smell me coming, and defeat my carefully laid plans. In any case, I am sure that we will be able to report very soon on developments in our battle. Stay tuned.

5/16/42 Image Two Marine regiments are unloading at La Foa, trapping his troops that are currently at Noumea. As you can see, those troops are trying to evacuate towards Koumac, but too late. Initially I landed an Australian company at La Foa to capture the port and absorb the amphibious casualties. Yesterday some of his Kates penetrated my carrier screen and sank the AP Tasker Bliss before it could reach La Foa, leaving some of my Marines a long swim. Image

I guess those Kates are refugees from the carriers you hit. Back on Dec. 24 [real date, unknown game date] your carriers were attacking all kinds of major naval ships in port at Koumac. If they disbanded to pierside repair their critical damage, it will take them at least three days to get back to "ready" status. If there is any way to take that base overland by then you would destroy all the ships not in ready status. [:)]
Meantime, lay on all the air attacks you can!

I honestly don't think there's anything afloat there, but if there is, I will find out tonight. And yes, I'm sure those Kates and Zeroes are refugees from his carriers.

5/17/42 Here is the result of a parting gift to Raiden's force moving from Noumea to La Foa. Some gift.

Don't just look at the troop casualties. You destroyed 10% of his guns and that has to count for something.

5/30/42 The Japanese force that was trapped at La Foa is no more. Two Japanese convoys have now landed reinforcements at Koumac, troops? planes? supplies? I know not. You can see the last one leaving to the NE.

In China, things are mostly bogged down, but in the site I've circled, Raiden has been pounding on the Chinese there for weeks, mostly at great expense. The Chinese have been trapped there, not able to move even one hex in any direction. He has been getting the better of them in the last week though. They can't last much longer. He is assaulting Sian and moving on Lanchow also.

6/4/42 A group of CVs escorting a convoy to Noumea came in range of his convoy at Koumac. I believe it had been there a couple days, so from the results I'm guessing he's been evacuating Koumac, not reinforcing it. Certainly to remove any of his surviving CV sqds unable to fly off.
