Problem installing patch

I have had to install the game on a different computer. Installation went well until I tried to install the Feb 2102 patch. I get this message when I extract the patch:

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32bit) or x64(64bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

Do you have any ideas. I have a 64 bit system.

You need to install the game in the c:\ root not in ProgramFiles. I'd do an uninstall and reinstall just for fun
Many of us have 64 bit systems and it works fine. Install as administrator.

Well in that case maybe re-download the patch. I know it's 100+MB but might be worth a go.

[edit] Also, I note that as I use virus and firewall, that I get a warning on these files wanting to connect. Maybe shut your virus and firewall (after disconnecting from the net) and retrying.

I did download twice...from the site on the forum. Just now I ran the update feature from the game menu and had no problems.
