send any ship to meet S18 and re-fuel. Any AKL or Amc will do.

Unfortunately, the game engine doesn't allow any sub refuelling at sea, even from another sub or an AO.
However, they are tough, and it takes a long time to accumulate 100 system damage, so the dry sub's tow dinghy should get them to base in 22 days![:)]

Eminently sensible and vastly superior to rowing the damn thing to Coal Harbour..except it won't work. You can't refuel subs from another ship, even an AO.

I would propose selling Atoll Derivates with possible leverage effects. The idea would be getting people to invest in Atoll estates on the cheap. They would finance some USN SeeBees to build it up to prime estate meaning you get leverage in your PI campaign. The investors would get their fully built prime estate back after the war, thereby getting their own Holiday island with an airfield and/or a pier. That's their leverage.

Do I even know what I'm talking about or even in which war? I'm so confused ...

The solution to that are the Omaha Steaks marinated tri-tips. You can get 'em at Costco. There are about 3 inches thick. You could steak them to the ground about 1 km from a neutron bomb and they would be crispy on the outside but nice and red on the inside. Absorutery dericious. I once fed them to a bunch of Villanova football players and other jock types. The rule of thumb for caterers is 1/3rd pound of beef for women, 1/2 lb for men. Phhht. Not even close. Fortuantely I had about 20 lbs of pork loin or I would have had to use the Verey pistol.

Cagayan and environs: Massively annoying Kuma comes in from the NW, somehow manages to avoid the picket ships and subs on the likely ingress routes and catches a troop convoy before they reach Cagayan. D'oh! I think this was 21st Marine Regt but I'm not sure. I toyed with the idea of sedning them back to Cotobato to unload but decided the port was too small. The taffy was only 80 miles from Cagayan at nightfall. They were specifically told not to stop to watch the flying fish. D'oh!
