LCU Rebuilding Issue

Post by Mistmatz »

Hi,

I am rebuilding the 24th USA division from its original regiments (19th, 21st and 34th). All devices of the merged division are doubled when I do that. Squads and engineer squads are 50% disabled, other devices are ready right away. See below image for details.

I assume this is not intentional, so I wonder how I can avoid or fix this issue?

Thanks in advance.

If you gained knowledge through the forum, why not putting it into the AE wiki?

1. Which patch are using?
2. Scenario #?
3. If you can, attach a zip with the save before you merged them.

I think it was fixed in one of the beta patch

Hi Michael,

a) 1.7.11.18-Oct 7 2012

b) Scenario 001

c) zip attached

There are some other weirdnesses in our save game that I never asked about because they didn't have a game impact, some of them long existing:

d) xAP Matang and CM Riegel are shown in the active ship list in Djokjakarta, but this location has been taken by the japanese long ago. I believe these ships may have been in the port when the base was taken and the vessels not scutteled or the table not updated?

e) Task Forces 209, 260, 374 and 394 behave strangly when I want to delete their TF label. I can relabel them fine but when deleting the label they automatically get some garbage characters entered into the field.

Again those have any impact on the game (as far as I can tell) and my opponent currently has the turn. But in case you are curious or heard about these before I thought I mention it.

Thank you for your continuous support Michael!

Running the rebuild on latest beta ...

e) I think this has been fixed also in a later beta (1119?)

d) 4 ships fit the same conditions. Have added load check to kill off the ships.
I suspect that the ships may have been repairing and didn't get killed off, but can't really tell as code looks good for having them scuttle or created as escaping TFs.
Ship Matang (9450) is in enemy port (Djokjakarta) - being written off
Ship Rigel (9654) is in enemy port (Djokjakarta) - being written off
Ship Pollux (9792) is in enemy port (Buitenzorg) - being written off
Ship Formalhaut (9795) is in enemy port (Djokjakarta) - being written off
