I thought Pearl Harbor was a pretty decent film, and Ben Affleck was brilliant in it!

I can't resist putting my votes in:

1) Wings. In 1927, they didn't have CGI. Those are real planes, with cameras mounted on them flown by real stunt pilots! Also, if you think product placement is new, watch Gary Cooper's scene.
2) Glory. The other mentions say it all about this one.
3) In Harm's Way. Yeah, a bit corny some ways, but still one of my favorites for viewing around December 7th.

I guess you guys just don't recognise historical accuracy when you see it - oh and not to mention great scriptwriting and even greater acting.....oh well....
