There's nothing at Brunei so I don't know why Elmer is striking there w/ his carrier planes. Not that I'm complaining. Every carrier plane
he loses to a ground target is one less I don't have to deal w/ on the high seas.

I used to think that places that were listed in red ment that there were too many planes at one airfield or something but here's a situation
where the only planes that are there are those that won't fly and maybe it's red because of all the runway damage. Pretty cool I think.

The Ops report contained a blurb about flooding being a problem or something aboard the West Virginia and I though to be safe I'd just
bring them all back and repair some of the damage before going out to sea again.

If it were me, I'd think about keeping St Louis and Honalulu with the DD and moving them onwards.

The BB's for sure can get some pierside time at Pearl without messing anything up, and make the journey safer in a few weeks.

You caught me being lazy again. Of course you're correct. See, this is why you win games and I don't. Attention to detail makes the
difference. I'll make the change you suggested and thanks for the idea.

I found some low-range transports trying to make their way to Pearl. They can make it about half way I figure so if I have some fuel there
to refuel them they should be able to make it all the way to Pearl. They can help carry stuff and I figure that instead of using them in and
around Sydney I might ought to see if they can be part of the pipeline between hubs. It's working so far. So far so good. I'm putting an
AO in the minor hubs along the way, Palmyra, Canton, etc. so the low-range dudes can fuel up even if they can't dock.

Here's the early part of the supply chain running from Pearl to Canton Island. I've got an AO at Palmyra and there's an AO pulling into
Canton and both islands have the necessary rudimentary supply of fuel to allow passage of the low-range dudes. I'm going to get some
engineers into the islands to expand the airfield(s) so that B-17's can pass from Pearl to Oz. easily. Or more easily.

Here's the situation around the lower PI. Finally Jap ships are starting to show up around Tarakan and they look to be the invading kind.
So I'm guessing that Tarakan's minefield will slow them down a bit but they will sacrafice some ships to get Tarakan I predict. There's a
CV type in the upper right area that I'm going to have to watch. Elmer could use that against my shipping w/ great effect so it bears
watching.

Of all the TF's headed to Midway most of them can be seen on the screen. Midway is out of fuel so I've got an AO headed that way. A
TK will follow shortly. Subs are starting to draw near to Midway so TF 384 I think it is, is an AS and A DD to make a proper sub base. I've
got adequate ground support there. The airfield is good to go, the port is ready. I think maybe Midway is combat ready. Or will be after
the fuel is delivered.

I'm in the process of setting up a sub base at Dutch Harbor and it's slow going. I don't even have an AS picked out yet. It needs one of
course so I'll find one and get it there somehow. Also, I'm sending an AVD to Dutch Harbor so as to service a Catalina or two. I'm
sending most of the subs to the Tokyo area to pick off the AK's and AKL's as they leave the harbor so to speak. I'm hoping there will be
a lot of traffic coming out of Tokyo so as to make the Allied job easier, more efficient. There's about 8 or so short-range subs pulling
into Pearl that I'm eventually going to send out to Canton Island and make that a sub base too. If there's enough AS's to go around.

I'm going through the TF's one at a time deciding whether or not to allow the vessel to continue on to it's original path or change some
detail about it's condition or something. A minute ago I was wondering if I'd have enough AS's to go around to the various sub bases I
want to install and here a couple of TF's later I find 3 of them in one TF. I'll find an escort for them and see if I can't distribute them to
the places that need them. Midway, Dutch Harbor, Canton, and of course Pearl. I think I've got enough for that.

EDIT: The forum software screwed something up and this post didn't work all that well. See the next one for the image.

I split off the two more seaworthy CL's and made them into a TF that is continuing on to Seattle and the rest of them, the flooding BB and
all the more damaged ships are going back to Pearl to repair a bit more.

I pulled the trigger again and ended the turn. So this is fresh combat results: One of my subs gets a DMS and the sunk ships display
shows it as sunk.
