no background

I have a problem in the campaign view of the game, the background and some visuals seem to be missing (see screenshot)
Also when I select a battlefield to see what the map looks like I see nothing at all.
In-game I have no problems whatsoever.

I am running on Windows 7 64 bit, Intel Core2 Duo E8400 3Ghz, 4GB RAM, Ati Radeon HD4800.

Is this a known issue, I checked the forum but could not find this issue.
Is there a fix for this?

I know it's right up there with "Have you tried turning it off then on again?" but have you tried updating your video drivers? It looks very much like a driver problem.

I had the latest video drivers installed. I just deleted the video drivers and reinstalled them.
Now everything is working. Thank you for the tip!
