Unit Deployment.

I don't know how easy this would be to programme, but if possible, hows about when deploying newly purchased units, that when you select the new units, the map centres on their countrys capital.[8D]

Just curious kirk23 - what is the motivation for this? Which "capital" would you want for Russia - Petrograd, Moscow or Tsaritsyn? Until the Russians get overrun, surely western Russia is where its at - or even The Causcasus?

For Turkey, surely the Causcasus or Egypt are key - not Constantinople?

Interested to hear your thought process on this one.

My reason behind the suggestion is this, maybe I should have said when selecting the new unit, the map should centre on the Country associated with that unit, and not the capital.

Please see photo,I have selected the newly created Belgium Garrison unit, and its ready to deploy, but the map is centred on the convoy way over at Canada.[&:]

Okay - although of course clicking on the minimap takes you right to where you want to go.

What do you make of the new changes so far?

The changes do indeed improve the game,Calvary units are stronger I have noticed, naval units are a little more resistant to damage, but still not strong enough for me,so its back to the modding I'm afraid to say.Green areas around ports still have to much free movement for enemy forces,I await the new destroyer units & I'm interested to see how the game will handle escort duties.
