The "other side" I was referring to was this academically frustrated young lady. I think it takes one heck of a sense of entitlement to bring a lawsuit like this.

Maybe. I'd say that: Gall, Hutzpah, Nerve, Poor sense of social justice, Self-centered, Spoiled ****ing rotten, In need of a whuppin', 'Helicopter'/spoiling/enabling parents perhaps may also partially explain the rationale for this lunacy.

I'm surprised/impressed that the administration seems to be sticking by the instructor's side of events enough to bring the case to court / trial. Usually, administration folds like a house of cards at anything that smacks of 'infringement' on a student's rights or well-being.

Keep us apprised of the trial. I'm looking forward to her wasting $30,000 of daddy's money and getting nowhere in her putrid lawsuit.

Of course, this doesn't bode well for her gaining admittance into another graduate program. Can you imagine how quickly her application for a 'master's degree in counseling' would get ****canned when the other schools get wind of this? [:D]

I'm wondering what daddy is thinking. This sort of nonsense could cause both of them to "lose a career".

Thanks for the wishes dudes.

Took my oldest to the circus here in town...lame for me, but he had a blast. It was worth every penny to see him have so much fun.

Hi all,
The new 2012 movie "Red Tails" is very bad one... the planes in it move "arcade style" without regard to physics and actual history depicted is, well, distorted... [:(]
The older Movie (where Cuba Gooding Jr. also starred) "The Tuskegee Airmen" from 1995 was 100x better IMHO!

I know, Leo. I wasn't thinking so much of historicity as socio-nonsensicality. Ok, as an historical movie, it sucked, but I liked it for its portrayal of the peculiar camaraderie that existed among African American soldiers. I liked a lot of Red Tails in that regard. Ok, I'm wierd.

Ok, so get 4-5 decent russet potatoes (not the mongo steak ones, just the normals). Scrub them with the food brush, and slice them into french fry portions (skin on). Put them in a bowl with 2 Tbs sugar dissolved in water to just cover the potateos. Wait 1 hour.

Drain and put back in bowl. Add 1 Tbs Sea or Kosher salt (very important) and a teaspoon of sage, thyme, rosemary (your choice) and a Tbs, or so, of finely ground Romano. Let sit for 1/2 hour. If you are really into it, mix the Romano with some breadcrumbs.

Let it breathe and fester and then fry it in oil. Not a lot, just enough to crisp it up.

Oooh, good stuff. Works for red snapper, too.

Whoops, forgot, need to put 2 Tbs of red wine vinegar (or equivalent) into the potatoes just before they are done (maybe 2 or 3 minutes out).

Need to serve the fries with a malt vinegar, mayonaise combo, kinda like how the Belgians do it.
