I'd post the combat report here but there's been very little reading of it and I'm pretty sure nobody would scream if I skipped posting it
from now on.

Some tanker(s) from Pearl have reached Canton Island and fueled up the island so now the little boys from Oz can make it all the way to
Pearl. That ought to boost the throughput from Pearl to the land of Oz. I'm going to have to start spending some of those PP's so I can
have enough manpower to man all the little islands and atols in the South Pacific.

Here's how busy Pearl is now a days. Most of them are empty which means they are probably coming from Oz.

I ended the turn which means these are all fresh combat results. One of my HDML boats got into the wrong spot at the wrong time. But
at least we now have the complete list of all the Jap boats in that group. No BB, which means I might get lucky and pick off the CV dude
in some surface conflict that has enough ships in it.

Here's the situation around Davao going west. I'm expecting some ground combat in the Davao area going north and east immediately
soon and Mandano is overrun to say the least and it looks like Tarakan will be invaded shortly. I've run everybody out of Balikpapan just
in case Elmer turns south all of a sudden. He's been known to do that.

Check my logic on this decision you guys. I've decided to ship the 8K of oil instead of to Perth but to Melborne instead. I know that Perth
is a railroad terminal and that Melborne would probably get SOME oil sooner if the transport goes to Perth but I'm thinking that ALL the
oil that I ship to Melborne ends up in Melborne. So if the transport continues on another 52 hexes or 13 days ( approx. ) then all 8K of
that oil would go to Melborne and that's where it's needed anyway. So I'm going to continue onward to Melborne w/ this ship load of oil.

TF 116 is some supply transports headed toward Oz and I moused over the base at Kona and saw where it's really really low on supplies
and I was thinking of stripping off one of the transports to supply Kona when I just happened to mouse over Hilo and saw where Hilo has
a Resource Center and no Light Industry to drain it. Perfect to supply Pearl w/ resources, 'cause it's close and handy. I just discovered
that this instant and thought I'd share it with you guys.

In fact, that's such a good idea, after I strip off one transport for Kona, I'm going to run the rest of them into Hilo to dump the supplies and
pick up some resources for Pearl. As I recall Pearl is on the failed industry list and some more resources will help get Pearl off that list.

I have a small surface group sitting parked at Tulagi and they are itching for some action but even though they have sufficient fuel for
their immediate needs they probably shouldn't go anywhere because there's no fuel NE of Cooktown ( the Rabaul area ). That's one of
the next few things I need to do: fuel up the outposts. I've got too few TK's to do that and besides all the good TK's are already on their
way to Pearl to pick up some badly needed fuel for Oz. I'll round up some stray AK's, some low-range AK's to do the fueling. Besides,
they would be more prone to being able to dock at these smaller ports than one of those ocean-going TK's. Might need more than one
trip but I'm hoping those would be few and quickly accomplished. I'm not sure there's enough time to make the FIRST trip to say
nothing about a second trip for fuel. But it's worth the effort.

I've got two transports at Bandy loading resources and they continue to do so at my instigation because I'm thinking that the Jap group
to the west of me is going to head North toward Singapore and that the Jap group to the east of me isn't going to leave the Mandano
base unless and until the base at Mandano is captured. At least I'm thinking that's what Elmer will do.

You guys probably already know this but I just discovered that Queenstown has a Resource Center and no Light Industry to drain it. So
it's good for supplying resources to Melborne. I gotta remember that.
