I predict JJ will pay attention. [:)] Looks like we will need more naval support to get all the goodies ashore.

very interesting AAR. quite a run up the middle to PI, ugh. this is making me re-think some of my defense in my own game as a Japanese player. Quite a big CV victory at Suva (around page 100, i've got some catching up to do)

I would be in heaven with all of those deer to shoot...[&o]

However, as we're only allowed to hunt with sticks and stones now a days.. I would only be able to get one me thinks...[8|]

Turns out ALSP already had a Para brigade prepping for Prome to seize a crossing over the Irrawaddy.

I told you we were both geniuses.

In other news Vicky has apparently arrived and there is no mention of any ankle sag.

Admiral Lord SPrior;

Just noticed something. If you try to land the Pioneers or 6th or 9th Aus or 18th Div before Ramree is captured they will suffer 50% disruption. That would be bad.

Quite possibly you thought of this already.[:)]

Let's hope Ramree Is has a good foundation in the bedrock...so I doesn't sink. [:)]

Quite a big CV victory at Suva

A bun fight compared to Port Hedland.

Can someone get an index organised?

Quite possibly. Luckily the Indians seem more organised.

They belong to the Queen. Shoot them and she'll track you down and give you a proper shoe-ing.

Quite true. In a way you could say Fiji was their high water mark, but Port Hedrand was an epic clash of man and machine. There was an entire month where it looked like our lads at Port Hedrand would throw in the towel. IJN naval losses were crippling.

Can someone get an index organised?

Stalker Girl and Pocahantas Girl have become drinking buds. Most likely they have a bottle of wine and begin to complain about the men in their lives. [:)]

SG was descending the stairs somewhat slowly this AM..

FAM: Bottle fatigue?

SG: Huh? No...I'm fine.

FAM: <not saying anything..trying to suppress smirk...holding fire because of St Valentine>

I dunno. I'd consider that a legitimate complaint for the Cap'n.

*************Pranning***************

San Jose: Runway nearly patched up. P-39's/RCAF Hurris and a few P-40K's in pretty good shape. USS Denver is slowly flooding...now up to 89%. I am going to trying to get a new Sea Bee Bn up there via LCT because the lads ashore are all disrupted.

Leyte: JJ is operating out of a level 2 field on Leyte with about 30 fighters and some dive bombers. I am sending Juneau in tonight. we shall see what a "machine gun" crusier does to an airfield.

Jolo: There is an apparent LYB cruiser-led force headed NE about 300 nm SSE of Jolo. Likely it will be a raid on the shipping there. There are still a few AK's and AP's trying to unload equipment amphibiously. They will head East tonight. A USN crusier force with two CL's under Willis Lee is on guard. Might be a good fight. They won't find anything but combatants and the base now has CD guns too. If they bring a CA it could be trouble. North Carolina and South Dakota are motoring up from Ternate tonight but probably wont arrive in time. SBD's at Jolo may be trouble for any IJN cripples.

Cagayan: Almost to level 5 field. USS Oakland is standing guard. I have another Air HQ that has attached Heavy Bomber groups headed up toward Cagayan...should arrive in 3-4 days.

Davao: Probably a few more air attacks before another ground attack.

Manado: Still in LYB hands.

Recon over Munda (Solomons) shows 16k troops. Thats nearly 100,000 troops between Munda, Lunga and Tulagi. Probably more on Bouganville. Recon over Vella Lavella today. Maybe they will move some there too. [:)]

I've been immersed in this game too long; I find myself wondering if she can really "see" out to 25 hex range and fly out to bite you if she spots you.
