T63. 27.08.1942. Hasher in Roslavl triangle. As expected all German tanks returned here from the South.

T64. 03.09.1942. Smolensk area. To our surprise no counterattacks here, all german tanks operate in "Roslavl triangle" trying to encircle our avangarde. We accumuleted huge mass of people and technics for decisive sturm of Smolensk. Some new infantry corps created.

T64. 03.09.1942. Bryansk and Orel area. Germans have reduced our breakthrough and trying to encirle some units, meanwhile we push to Smolensk and hovering over Orel where main intrique of future turns will take place. Heavy losses from both sides. In the air rate of losses is 1 - 1,5. Each turn Kamil loose 200+ aircrafts, we - 300+. This fully suit us, Soviet aviation hosts in the air.

I am not so sure. I pay by pockets for my initiative in central sector. My army is only 6,400 000 and I have AP crunch as consiquence of this and of many infantry corps created.

Is this Germany or all your axis combined? This can't be just Germany or else something is terribly wrong. If its all axis than this is very plausible. In my current game (T93) the combined axis have between 400-500k reserve men.

98 would be the right number.

And your completely smoked Kamil with only 3.2 million Germans and I mean smoked in late 43 or early 44.

Again SHC OOB means nothing, its all about GHC morale and manpower. Your manpower should be closer to 3.5 million right now. You have so many weak spots Mike can win a bunch of battles that is crippling your OOB.

Once on the defensive GHC must fine a good defensive line or be bleed to death very quickly- 20 turns rifle squads can be ground down from 40k to 20K if you do not have good lines.

vs you I was able to hold the lines from July 42 to winter Jan 44, because I had good defensive lines, which left only a dozen or less hexes you could attack per turn. You could not grind me down until rivers froze.

If you dont retreat behind a river line quickly you will be bleed to death in short order, sorry.

Playing GHC requires ALLOT of skill or its a very quick smoke show. SHC can make mistake after mistake and get by. GHC can not make any.

This is what I thought. All the axis combined have 400-500k manpower not Germany..although I'm sure Germany probably has a little left as well.

Just for information to think about. Kamil, do you remember, after applying hotfix you wrote this:
