Which version 3.2.29.27 or later for occasional player?

Post by altipueri »

I just got a netbook as they are going out of fashion.

Screen is 1024 x 600

TOAW 3 seems to start Ok but as an occasional player should I just stick with all the defaults as it starts up? I read several threads about the new 3.4 changes, turn sequence etc. and suffered a brain fart.

Kamerad,

I'd use the new rules; after all, aren't we all playing because of the challenge? Pre-3.4 still got some gamey things, e.g. ant-attack; I'd give the full-Monty a try. New rules about supply etc. just have a look at my Tutorial '41 then at the Gefechtsstand.

Don't use New Turn Order or New Supply Rules unless the scenario briefing specifically says to use them.

Thanks guys.

For those of you in UK an ASUS netbook with Win7, HDMI and VGA output with MS Excel and Word included is only £179.99. It plays old games Ok and the output means I can use a larger screen for home based stuff. I bought two.

I can't seem to download your tutorial on your blog. It seems that the rapid share link broke at some point.
