As you may or may not recall TF 85 attempted to unload some AF dudes at Dili and some of them couldn't unload so I stopped the down
load and moved them to Koepang where they did sucessfully ( so far ) unload. So now I have a fragment at Dili and the parent LCU at
Koepang and I'll just have to wait until the port at Dili is larger or maybe try using smaller boats or something. I'd rather not march them
overland, ( why walk when you can call a taxi ) so that's the situation as it stands now. I'm going to run into this problem again. And
again.

TF 412 is taking the 2nd Air Flotilla HQ to Babar so as to install the ability to reload torpedoes in the planes that use them. At least that's
the theory. I'm also going to expand the airbase there so as to be able to base bombers there as well as fighters. It's closer to Darwin
so I'm guessing it's the best place to have a base. To fly missions from.

Jim had some real life issues come up suddenly and we're late getting this update posted but we're back now and here's some fresh
combat results. I always like to get one of the Allied ship hunters. Morale soars when that happens. In the Sub corps.

I did a night naval bombardment of Port Moresby but according to the losses the Allies suffered, I may as well have stayed home. I guess
I need to add another BB to the TF doing the bombardment(s). I just happend to have one handy as well. We'll see how two BB's do on this assignment.

And next there was an air strike on the Allied troops near Mersing:

The beat down of the Manila remnants continues. I'm moving the balance of my troops to Mauban to try to eliminate the Allied group
entirely so as to finish off the mop-up at Manila and go on to other things. Like Singapore.

And then there was a carrier-borne strike on Singkep and I'm adverse to using carrier planes on land troops but in this instance I'm
thinking it might be necessary. To save my troops on Singkep.....they are badly outnumbered and in trouble. Maybe.

I'm after the remnant at Gasmata as well. I'm sending an LCU out into the jungle to investigate and I'll probaby run into the Allied LCU
sometime soon.

And then there was a strike hitting Singapore:

And then there was a Jap carrier strike on Brisbane and it nets a couple of ships:

And then my Sally's hit someplace in Java or other.

Now that the 14th Div is at Mersing I thought I'd try a deliberate assault and it didn't go quite as I had planned. I guess those Allied
troops need some more beat down before I tackle them head-on.

I'm going to have to turn off the bombardment at Batavia.....I'm killing my own troops. I guess they need some rest before I try a ground
bombardment or two.

The number of casualties from Allied ground bombardments at Port Moresby have dropped off remarkably. My dudes are still out of
supply so that's not the trend. I'm guessing that the Allies are running low on supplies too.

Miri's fuel level has dropped below the 50K maximum storage for fuel and so the spoilage or spillage has stopped. Now to start moving
oil to the home islands. Or resources or something. I'll take a look around and see what needs to be moved now. I'm guessing Truk
needs some fuel still and of course Bubble Drop needs some fuel. And of course the home islands need resources and fuel so I guess
that's the goodies I'll move next.

Wake used to be out of supplies entirely but I drove this supply transport into the minefield and past the Allied sub to supply Wake. I
got in there successfully which doesn't mean that the next ship trying it won't get hit by a mine or clobbered by the sub. It's still a danger
no matter how many times it works. There's going to be one time when it doesn't. So far so good.
