And this time, when the Allies do their ground bombardment at Port Moresby there's some Allied losses as well. That's a first time for
that to happen. Maybe some supply is getting through to the troops now. ???

Okie dokie.........Miri is safely below the fuel maximum so we can cease the crisis of fuel at Miri. I'm going to start hauling fuel out of
Palembang now. It's chock full of fuel.

The CVE Taiyo is down to about 20+ sorties so I'm going to stand down the Vals and retire to Singkawang to rearm I've got about
enough sorties left to fly all the planes one time and I'm saving the last flight for emergencies. I've been caught too many times with a
good target and no bullets left to shoot.

My southern carrier group has about 38% of it's sorties left so I'm thinking one more strike on Brisbane and then I'll have to retire and
rearm. Also, the Ruyjo has some major damage I need to fix somewhere. Truk has an ARD, I'll try there first and if it's no go there then
I guess I'll have to sail her up to Yokohoma for repairs as there's no repair yard nearby handy. One of the major handicaps the Japs
have is no repair yard(s) handy.

My northern carrier group has bits and pieces coming out of the repair yard to join the TF. There's just one BB, one CA, and one CL
still being repaired and it looks like the Ise needs some attention as well. But with those repaired I'll be ready if Jim comes to visit again.
He's put in an appearance twice already up here in these northern parts and I wouldn't put it past him to do it again. I'm ready this time.

Okie dokie..........I'm starting to see some green arrows on the resource history of the Jap home islands. That's a good sign. I've really
got to pick up the pace somehow though. I'm not keeping up with the war needs. D'oh.

Another disaster: Jim has laid a minefield at Tulagi and one of my PB's cleared one of his mines. It's not showing up on the sunk ships
list though so maybe he got away w/ it this time. I gotta say all these mine fields are putting a crimp in my options. Jim has figured out
that I have only two DMS ships and is making hay while the sun shines. He's going to win this game yet.

One of the Allied subs got into the mine field I laid at Wake and destroyed one of my CM's. The CM tending the mine field. D'oh.

I need some recon of Darwin to tell how I'm doing. I keep bombing Darwin but I'm not sure it's doing any good. I guess shutting down the
air port is one good thing that might happen. Maybe I should do some city bombing and shut down the Resource Center as well?

Some of the Manila remnants get clobbered again. The number of losses is higher than usual. Jim's troops must be running really low
on supplies. Or my pilots are getting more experienced. Too bad I can't use a spotter on the bombing. Or a FAC or something.

I've already started moving some troops into the hex at Cagayan so as to confront the Allied unit(s) there. I'm hoping he won't kill my
dudes one at a time because they won't all arrive at the same time. Probably.

I must say that the AAA fire at Singapore is really tough. Some of the heaviest FLAK of any place on the map so far. Reminds me of
flying into downtown Hanoi during the Vietnam conflict.
