Sissy! ;) Nah, this was a GREAT game, Jess! Tremendous fun! I do agree with you that you really fed us your troops piecemally, so we had no troubles disposing of them. (hello have you read your Guderian today? ;) )

Consider my push through the ATG park - how many 76.2s were there? 8? 10? If you'd have infantry and tanks backing those guys, I'd have a lot more trouble.

A commentary to the screenshots: 1-3 are on my front (south)

1) This is far east, just outside Prokhorovka. Here is the main "red steel" push, and as you can see, we're flooded with T-34s. Notice how not one of them has got that little (+) on top of them? :p Seems like my suppressive fire worked. At that distance, I could NOT knock out a T-34 with a Panther!

This is the only place were I was in trouble. My front is just as wide as that screenshot, Jess has the area west of that and about 20 hexes south....not a lot of room for maneuvers.

2) Central Olga Park. We've just broken through and are rampaging among Jess' batteries. Just south of the featured river, I have infantry and another company of Tigers lined up....

3) ....which brings us to photo #3. This is northeast of photo #2. The aforementioned Tigers have dealt with those lines of T-34s at ranges OVER 30 hexes. See result.

Tigers lost (not counting two breakdowns): Z E R O !! :D

Now, the screenshots are not showing it (as they don't show the bulk of my force to the center and west), but I chose to slow down the push in order to have everyone with me. So if you'd see the whole map, almost all my tanks are neatly arranged in lines and "hedgehogs". I think it was worth the trouble, especially when we came under all that hard-to-spot mortar and ATG fire.

I have to agree with Bel. If you had sent them in one to two massed wave;s it would have been very hard to to stop! In the end I was having to move the morters down to keep up with the troops!.
pic 3 & 4 are of the nord front.

3] is over and down from the school house. To the right of the picture was[pass tence] one of ogla's morter farms.
we had come under a fair amount of 76mm atg fire there so I hit with art and then move my ferd's to there to suppress.
Then over by the ridge when my boys where moving over to help, is when jess started to launch his t34 attacks, most of the t34's that are dead up there are from the Stuh's and not the panther as it could not hit the barn sitting next to it!

4] Is the school house. Jess if you had moved more men in, with the su122's as support I would probly not taken it as easy as I had.

My Elefants work good when needed, but I had only lost two to enemy fire, but out of nine to ten panzers SIX where broken down or immoblized!!!!!!!
the panther's where only good for chasing down infanty!!!!
My lone PZK III did more damage to jess then them! of the three PZK IV's one is immoblized, the other two where used as infanty kills as them also could not kill t34s at evan six to 10 hex range!
But over all this was a very fun game and would requmend it to anyone who likes large battles!!!

You did good making this one again Jess. Thanks

:D

PS: as one of the sisy's who kicked your butt again, I cannot speek for Bel, but bring it on old man!:p
