Too bad Amonte, Chelios, Roenick, and Belfour can't come back.. but it's all good.

Eddie Belfour also played for UND. A lot of Sioux players in the NHL, at least eight anyway. Zack Parise for the Wild is also playing very well. And Matt Frattin for Toronto is having a good season.

...not quite as amazing when you consider that most of the residents are stoned out of their gourds most of the time and their worst crime is stealing a bro's lunch from the work cafeteria fridge when they get the munchies...[8D]

...but seriously, i DO think the community outpouring of support is commendable...my point was that i hope it doesn't somehow minimize all the other cops (and other public service workers) when they die in the line of duty...

We all know basketball isn't a real sport! [8D]

Exactly! A real sport should involve hitting people, preferrably knocking them down or throwing small, hard objects at a high rate of speed or the use of some sort of club or other stick. Football and Baseball both qualify under these rules while hockey triple qualifies and even takes a handicap shot by using ice skates. Soccer almost qualifies, but was beat out by it's Australian cousin, Rugby, which double qualifies due to the sheer aggressiveness of it's players, who oddly enough are soccer hooligans in the off season. Lacross not only qualifies, but sacrificed it's competition on an impromptu alter and ate it's heart. Basketball not only didn't qualify, but wet itself when faced with it's competition and is now huddled in the corner in the fetal position.

Yes, of course! Just wanting to make sure those that think March is a month for basketball are mistaken. It is a time for Baseball to wind up, Hockey to really kick in, and Football to be thinking about the NFL draft and what might happen in the fall.
