DW Legends Public Beta v1.7.0.20 Available

I have Win 7 and it appears tat game is running slower then before. Prior to this patch, even in games with many empires and with heaps of private ships, game wouldn't slow down.

Now I have to close Dw and go back in and then play for a bit before doing it again.

I would agree, was switching to and from 20 to 17 a few times and noticed the gui slower with 20 (with playing at 50 fps with the star density and nebulas low.) playing both patches for quite a few hours. But there was a slow down, Im guessing caused by the AI possibly?

Hmm, and I'm getting 'out of memory' issues now, when I didn't before.

Is it because 1.7.0.20 is a beta that the In game Updater keeps trying to re-install 1.7.0.16? I'm 99% sure it is. But it's kinda frustrating when you use the Updater to check If a new Update has been released and it reverts you back.

Probably not much that can be done I guess? Except make 1.7.0.20 an Official patch?

JosEPh my friend, I never use the in-game updater link for that very reason. I just manually install all patches(or remove them)when desired. I must say that the 1.7.0.20 patch has been very stable for me, though

The build for this has been updated to include .Net Framework 4.0, which DW:Legends now requires.

These are Beta builds, so until they become official, the Updater will want to update you to the older official version, which can cause issues with the install.

Thank you for informing us of the updated .Net Framework 4.0 files. One less thing to cause a problem when we update versions.

Has any work been done to address the inability some of us have with running the game with the latest beta update (1.7.0.20)? I still can't get it to fire up unless I go back to 1.7.0.16.

How are you! Man MoO3 was a longtime ago.....

Yeah I'm learning this the hard way as I've re-installed the 1.7.0.20 beta twice because I used the In game Updater.

Hey I should know better. But I put DW down for awhile then come back and forget what I learned the 1st time. :p

Too many distractions now that I've retired.
