Good to see that Research is going into this, not just the whims of a few or gut feel. I would only suggest Solitaire/HtH be grouped as its basically the same thing. But then thats my whim.

Someone posted the question and I would not buy the game if AI wasnt available at start.

I do hope there will be more than 132 sales of the game.

i use the AI to get the Heads up with games only 20%

after that will be net play most of the time 50%

emails when players are busy. 30%

netplay hope to be around 75% currently regular user on vassal so hope to keep those opponents if game not priced too high

AI Opponent - 70% of course as others have said, depends on AI [:)]

NetPlay - 0%

PBEM - 30% currently using this for WitP AE so can easily see this for WiF

Looking at those survey stats does it seem that most of us on this site intend to be playing alone? Surely with the number of posters on this forum over the years we can find suitable groups to play more sociably over the lovely internet.

There is no substitute for kicking someone else's butt instead of my own. However, the games is so all-consumin I am afraid of netplay, and an AI for that matter.
