The Texas Cannonball Freddie King. You can hear his influence in Stevie Ray Vaughans' style quite a bit.

A live one from 73 in Sweden

Steel Panther - Death To All But Metal (Explicit)

Lyrics, video are well amusing, total satire of 80's hair metal bands, like the hair blowing and the end bit [:D]

Darkspire

Thx for the laugh and the memories, they sure nailed the 80's. reminded me of a time when MTV actually played music video's. i might have to go on a 80's metal binge tomorrow when i get to my me time[:)], hell 80% of my collection is 80's metal.

Theres only one Norwegian band Terje

A-ha [&o]

Never been a fan of A-ha tbh, and really do not rank them highly in terms of Norwegian bands. Sure, they are the best selling pop band to come out of Norway, but that is not enough for me to call them good [;)]

Keeping it Norwegian [:D]

From the TV-Show "Hver gang vi møtes" (everytime we meet) *, Lene Marlin's cover of a CC Cowboys song
From the same TV-show Ole Paus' cover of Lene Marlin's Disguise (he translated it to Norwegian though, and has a very distinct style and voice [;)])

* in this TV show Norwegian artists meet and live together for a week, during which each artist has one day where all the others interpret their songs.

Sissel Kyrkjebø - Bridge over Trouble Water
Jokke og Valentinerne - Her kommer vintern

Made my first Youtube video. Took me a while to get it decent but well worth it.

Especially for the 99th page a haunting bluesy bluegrass tune.
