Wow! They rejuvenated quickly!
They'd be even more potent if you had the other 18% of the unit. I assume that was just destroyed outright and hasn't yet been rebuilt, Lord Admiral?
They were at the Somm...err..I mean Port Hedrand.
You should see the 32nd ID

Nope. It's from the Imperial War Museum Duxford. Some Commonwealth unit I am pretty sure.

Battle of Beersheba? That was in the Bible, right? Man, that is a very historical unit.

Just watched Argo last night. Fantastic film. Loved the Alan Arkin character. I can see why the Revolutionary Guards were unhappy about their portrayal but it seems to me the depiction of the revolution and embassy seizure were entirely fair. I think those were the most riveting crowd scenes I have ever scene on film. After the embassy attack I wanted to bomb something. That's why we are going after Clark Field today.

How long should you wait before checking email inbox for a turn? In other words, at what point does it become desperate?
So this 16 year old guy comes in a few days ago with his mom for a routine check-up. Long time patient. Big kid, looks like a 25 year old. Socially sophisticated, smart, confident. Going places for sure. He announces that he has a new baby and is living with "his lady" [X(][X(]
I congratulate him on the birth of the healthy baby...what else can you do? At least he is still in school. Then he asks for help on a "primary nocturnal enuresis" problem. <facepalm>

Kaga just showed up on the sunk list. Most likely somebody had too much espresso. Kongo I can believe.

Hmmm ..this sounds like a marketing opportunity ... Medicaid pays for well baby check ups . and although my game is Geriatrics ..last time I checked Ped's recommends 8 regular well-baby check up between 1 month - 24 months ... You missing a patient teaching opportunity [8D] [even the mother might qualify as a Ped's Pt .. but I would refer all the OB-Gyn stuff .. [:D] ]

Recently, I had a 17 year old long time patient make a "Well Child" appointment for herself AND her new twins on the same day. Amazingly efficient really. I threw out the twins dad out of the room durning her exam. [:D] Seemed kinda silly but probably the proper thing to do.
Against all odds those two young parents are taking fanastic care of the twins. Quite an amazing thing to see. Of course, they still face obstacles, and the grandmothe's are helping but they have passed the 6 month mark when those kind of arangements usually blow up. They are at least doing as well as the adult couples in my neighborhood. I hope they don't try to put in an outdoor Bar-B-Q

The arsenal of democracy starts to make noise.
2 Liberty ships, an APA, a subchaser and a Gato class in 1 d [:)] How can we possibly lose?

Amazing that any ships make it to the front lines....here is part of the gauntlet they have to run and the partial respites of air cover they have.

Have you thought about occupying "Beizelbob" and Peleliu so you can move stuff a little more Eastward?

The most dangerous job in the US Navy in WWII(c) is:
1) TBD crewman
2) Minesweeper crew, assigned to intercept incoming Jap battleships
3) Assignment to a Sea Bee Bn.
[:D]
You can almost hear the zeroes and ones chatting inside the PC and heckling each other over who got assigned to each unit. Guess the most boring digital job would be being assigned to some off-map fortress. [:'(]

And while you're at it, why don't you just "occupy" Tokyo and skip the rest of the war? [8|]ORIGINAL: Crackaces

See the Okinawa discussion above. I'm pretty sure those anchor, plane, and square symbols at Babeldaob mean it would be hard.
That being said, a little cleanup of the rear areas wouldn't hurt. One counterinvasion in the wrong place could cut off the beer supplies to Jolo.

They tried that already and lost a good part of a division in the process.
