The intial plan was to capture Loag and then drive to Aparri and Vigan to have 3 mutually covering bases. Aparri may be out as an easy grab.

Welcome aboard young Emmor. Yes, the classic Alka-Seltzer commercial. Quite apt, really.

Hadn't looked at the number of pages. 375 pages! Santa Maria! That's is almost one page for every day of the war...and no filler, either.
A few weeks ago we looked at a house located on Rancho Santa Maria! My wife wondered why I laughed all the way through the property.

Yes, yes! I was there 2 weeks ago with SG looking at the models. We absolutely LOVED the floorplan on the Madre de Jesus model!

The center island with the granite countertop and vegetable sink was divine.

Well, I can't berieve I read the WHOLE thing!

You are going to have a very warped Monday.

My initial thought was Monday wouldn't be different than any other day because my friends would assure you I have been warped for many, many moons. However, you were right! When I was getting ready for work this morning I was a bit dizzy. So yes, reading this AAR apparently warped me.

Yikes! I was that color once. It was all over instead of little dots. That makes it better, right?

I contend those little arrows on LCU's lead to poor eyesight and feeling of disoreintation ... [especailly before Michealm fixed things where arrows were not pointing in real directions ..]

Ah, there you are. I realize I might not have set the best example at Legaspi, but do we have a surface group to cover the lads at Port Blair? [:)]

Also, what do you think...land at Lucena and slog northward or go long for the landing at Loag?

I'm thinking we had better do Lucena first until the Jap airfields at tamped down on Luzon and we find out exactly their carrier strength.

I've sent a battleship and some destroyers to cover Op Tony.

As for Luzon we've got aircraft carriers, battleships, cruisers, battlecruisers, submarine cruisers, submarines, fighters, bombers, fighterbombers, marine divisions, infantry divisions, marine divisions, rustlers, cutthroats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, half-wits, dim-wits, vipers, snipers, con men, indian agents, mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwackers, hornswagglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass kickers, shit kickers, and methodists!

So let's go and have some fun!

I'm glad I was sitting down when I read this or some of those maladies might have affected me, too!

Response: "I like Marine Divisions."
