Can't download 1.30

As the subject says. It tries to download, creating a new handle or some such thing
and it just sits there. If I bring up the task manager, it tells me that the program is
not responding. This has happened numerous times. Is there a way to manually
download the patch?

I had the same trouble but after resetting my firewall I was able to download it without trouble.

Spoke too soon. I was able to download it, but it won't install.

It should recognize your serial and allow an install, do you have your Windows UAC disabled? Make sure your firewall or AV are not interfering, so in the worst case disable them temporarily before install or install while in Windows "safe mode".

It is not the installer, but something blocking and not allowing to install, Windows UAC is often the culprit, or AV software...
