As a WAG, I'd say Sunderland, but I don't think that's right. It does look like a 4 engine beast.

Yellow and Black bang seat handle in the lower left corner and a very sloped windshield. Not likely to be anything from WWII.
My money is on the V-bomber that Dixie was banging on about getting a special tour.....

Edit 2: Just noticed the Air Speed Indicator calibrated up to Mach 1.3 - That might have been a hint to the observant!! [:D]
