BFTB Build 4.4.260

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

I hope we get another beta without the slippage problem, hopefully than the assaults will finally run like they should.

Sorry if this sounds harsh but that is a very very bad idea.
Make a last beta to test for everyone and if that babe is OK turn it into a final Patch, who knows if the last fixes didn't break anything else?

We had now some problems with the attacks in the last row of betas, the latest fix of the slippage problem is the best example, I pointed to the delay problem in the attacks and 1-2 betas after that the slippage problem got caught.
Maybe the slippage problem also "covered" other problems that can now arise.

I know this beta stage now runs a while but with the last year problems because of the halting problem and the patch delay it should be understandable that this delay has to be compensated by a longer beta phase for a final patch.

Point taken but the only changes we have made are very simple changes and we have tested them here. If worse comes to worse we can put out another patch. There has to come a time when I say enough is enough or otherwise we never get finished and we do need to finish this process so I can get out something that will make some money.

Couldn't agree more Dave. Lets get BFTB all finished off and move upwards and onwards..

edit: Just read Dave's replies on my 3 years thread..my enthusiasm has evaporated sadly.

Lets get BFTB all finished off (Wodin)

I think it might just be the 'tone' of your continual crying out for BFTB to be finished off in favour of some EF thing that's 2 years hence, Wodin, but I do think you're out of synch with most people who actually play the thing. Sounds like you don't actually like BFTB, often. I'm sure you don't intend that. Like I said, might just be the 'tone.'[:'(]
