My defenses (fort 2+) crumbled in some places. But this has it's drawbacks for cpt flam's horde in feldgrau - as I have no positions to hide behind, I do more attacks. Cornered bears are dangerous :)

Western Front commander ~ Dmitry Pavlov ~ is promoted to Marshal !!!

one of the delights to reading this AAR is the way you both trade blows rather than sit in passive lines

And I thought ours is an extremely passive AAR. You see, I'm a defensive minded player, so it's hard for me to risk anything without a 3:1 advantage and never risking my units for counter-encirclements. Certainly of us two, cpt flam is the aggressive one.

175K in manpower pool and growing steadly is not good.

Odd that you have allot of extra manpower and armament pts yet your pool is growing.

Is this German pools only?

The combat is low in intensity so I'd say it's reasonable that his army and his pools grow all the time (as do mine, but mine do it faster).

Italians will be more in "contact" as they have a huge pool and "withdrawing" soon

here are losses from my attacks
probably the production of the turn for T-34

I am very sure GHC units are not all at 100% toe.

If it is low intensity, sure his armament pools might grow, but his manpower pool should drop quickly and bottom out at 20,000 to 40,000 not 170,000 and not really move.

SHC has far more armaments and manpower then they will ever use and should have 100,000's arm pts and 10,000,000 plus men by end of game and still more men in pools.

GHC Manpower pool "should" be dropping quickly and is not, SHC pools window dressing.

Just sent my turn to cpt flam. I have patched in the missing upgrade paths, which should enable rifle squad reinforcements. I wonder what cpt flam will think of that and how will his pool and oob look like. Tests were promising.
