It's not neutered, its just not supposed to get any worse based on inflation.
I, your humble civil servant, avoid the AMT simply by not getting paid enough to trigger it.
I forget - what's the proper usage of "its"? Apostrophe or no apostrophe?

"By convention" as I was taught, the possessive "its" has no apostrophe, while the contraction of "it is" to "it's" does have the apostrophe.ORIGINAL: Colonel Mustard

Yes, as in "It's annoying that the IRS is so skilled at sucking blood from its American citizen victims."

I forgot that the big January 1 deal dealt with AMT moving forward too. That shouldn't affect the Cap's fun and games for FY 2012.

Note, however, that we are not citizens of the IRS. Even though they think we are. [;)]

RE: Sturm und drang
by the way, i asked NYGiants59 in his AAR to post a grand strategic map (Ctrl-A) of the campaign with a summary. easier for those just tuning in to follow, though i've been reading up on this AAR for a while. Anyway, would be interesting to see and get a grasp on the situation and current choices etc. thanks

Thank God I don't work for those vampires! New York State is waaay more Taxpayer-Friendly!I couldn't remember which one was which, but I also read somewhere that, since they would always need an apostrophe (possessive or contraction), you really never needed one. Hmmm.

Thanks Captain Mandrake... yes i did want to talk about the war. Quite a fascinating run up in the middle there. 70-75k Japanese left in Oz!!! Ouch.
As for NY State, they are ruthless on taxes. i just moved from NYC to North Carolina, but still working for a NY company. NY state is coming after me to pay taxes on my income even though i don't live there anymore. Apparently they are the nation's leading authority on this issue and you can't escape it.

Seen from the overview map, your assault does look like a big sword thrust into the heart of LYB country!
Gutsy and brilliant move! You seem to be pulling off what Montgomery failed to do! [&o][&o][&o]

Aye. The narrow front approach has been successful in this game. YMMV.

I truly think the Davao ->Palawin axis and projecting force to cut the IJ off from the DEI oil is a much better route than the direct invade the DEI approach. The fact that this is happening in 1943 is devastating in this game. I suspect the IJ's resistance will be futile ..
